Tiny Artists

Let your child be the next budding Picasso
and have fun learning to draw, paint and create!

The club runs at Hayes Primary School on Tuesday at 3.10-4.15pm (EYFS, Years 1 & 2) and Wednesday 3.30-5pm (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6).

Help your child to become creative and produce their own masterpieces - sign them up NOW.

The school curriculum is so jam packed that children often don't get the time to explore their own creative talents. Tiny Artists aims to give children an opportunity to express themselves in a fun and supportive after school ART club.

I am a fully qualified Primary School teacher and also an Ofsted registered Childminder, trained in paediatric first aid.

What is Tiny Artists?

Tiny Artists is a fun after-school art club for Primary Age children.

We aim to:

  • Improve artistic skills in a relaxed positive environment
  • Experiment with a variety of different mediums
  • Express ourselves in different ways
  • Develop self confidence
  • Have fun!

As a former Primary School Teacher, I began Tiny Artists as I have a true passion for teaching art and teaching children. The school curriculum is so jam packed that children are not always fully able to express themselves or appreciate and try out a range of artistic techniques in a relaxed and creative environment. Tiny Artists gives children this opportunity; to have fun, take their time and produce some art work to be proud of. I encourage children to begin wherever their ability permits and aim to promote positive self esteem in all pupils, while allowing them to express themselves freely in their artwork.

What do you do?

Tiny Artists has a theme each week, usually based on a famous artist and his/her work, and each child gets to take home a creative piece every week. We aim to use a range of different materials and give children the opportunity to take their time on a piece of work they can be proud of.
