After graduating in English Literature and Drama from Goldsmith’s College, I was awarded a scholarship to study with the Jacques Lecoq school of theatre in Paris. I lived in Paris for three years, studying and also running theatre and music camps.
On moving back to Britain, I worked as a PA to the Head of Human Resources for the British Railways Board, whilst studying to become a Chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development. I then worked as a leadership development trainer, running outdoor challenge programmes for managers and supervisors across the organisation.
Having children made me realise how important it is to have a very good local school, so I trained to be a teacher. I gained valuable experience working at different kinds of schools and in different roles in Bromley and Lewisham.
As CEO/Executive Head of The Spring Partnership Trust, I am responsible for working with the Trust Board and staff to set and communicate the strategic direction for the schools. I am also responsible for the management of curriculum development, Assessment, finance and premises and staffing to ensure the very best education for our children.
