Homework 

At Hayes Primary School, homework is an important part of consolidating learning and building positive study habits. All children will receive homework each week, with the amount and type of homework varying appropriately by age and stage.

• Every child will have a homework book
• Homework is sent home on Fridays and should be returned by the following Wednesday
• Homework tasks will differ between year groups and may focus on a range of curriculum areas, depending on what children would benefit from practising or revisiting
