How can you support your child's maths?
The most important thing for you to do with your children at home is to practise times tables. Times tables feed into so many areas of maths, and children who able to recall their times tables quickly are generally more able to access other parts of the maths curriculum. For example, having an assured control over times tables will mean that children are able to find equivalent fractions and calculate with fractions more easily. Please see the link below for ideas of ways you could help your child to learn their times tables.
