Playground Pals

Our playground pals are made up of volunteer students from year 5. They complete application forms, and are then selected from their application and placed on a rota.

Their role at break and lunchtimes is to:

• Support our KS1 children with the skills needed to make friends
• Encourage our KS1 children to play games together - to have fun, share and join in
• Be a role model to the younger children and an ambassador for the school
• Support the children to grow in confidence and self esteem

You might see them on the playground in their hi-vis vests.
