Music lessons are available to children in Year 3-6 for the following instruments:
- Piano
- Guitar
- Brass [Trumpet, Horn, Trombone and Tuba]
- Flute
- Cello
- Clarinet
- Saxophone
- Drums
- Violin
Please enquire if the instrument is not listed above, an alternative arrangement maybe be possible.
Please collect an application form from the school office or print the attached application form if your child is interested in having lessons. Please return the form to the school who will pass it onto the appropriate BYMT (Bromley Youth Music Trust) member of staff.
You will be contacted directly by the music teacher when a place becomes available. The office does not hold a waiting list at school. If you would like to contact the BYMT directly, please phone 0208 467 1566. Group lessons are not available for piano or drum lessons.
If your child is offered a place, the lessons take place during the school day (apart from drums which are usually after school on a Monday). Your child will be allocated a lesson on the same day of each week. The lesson time will change to ensure they don’t miss the same lesson each week. It is the responsibility of the child to turn up on time. Timetables for all music lessons are available outside the music room in school at the end of the Year 2 Corridor.
