The school Gardening Club is currently run for Year 3 and 4 by Teaching Staff and Parent Volunteers. Each week, on an informal basis a group of children spend part of their lunch break in our vegetable and fruit garden, located on the lawn by the school office.
In an action-packed 30 minutes, children learn about all the things that plants need in order to grow and get hands-on experience of planting, watering, weeding and harvesting their hard work.
The PTA Gardening Team volunteers also take turns look after the space during the school holidays and it has created a fun and inclusive community space which anyone is welcome to enjoy. To volunteer to help with any gardening project please contact Sarah Osborne firstname.lastname@example.org
