Our English Champions are the pupil voice for English at Hayes Primary School. Chosen by their classmates, they meet regularly with the English Lead to share ideas, offer feedback and help shape the way English is taught and celebrated across the school.

Our English Champions:

• Talk about what they enjoy in English lessons and suggest ways we can make the subject even better.

• Help choose exciting new texts for class book corners and write book reviews for our reading newsletters, inspiring others to explore new stories.

• Promote a love of reading and writing amongst their peers.

• Present in assemblies, sharing news, events and updates linked to English across the school.
