The School Day
Arriving and Leaving the School Grounds
George Lane is a School Street and is therefore closed to vehicles from 8.15am until 9.15am and from 2.45pm until 3.45pm. Pupils can use either of the paths and should not walk across the staff car park when on the school grounds. If anyone enters the school by vehicle, there is a strict 5mph speed limit on the school site.
We ask that families and children arrive no earlier than 8:20am unless your child/ren are attending a prearranged before school activity e.g. a sports club or tutoring session.
In the interests of safety it is important that the road and pavement immediately outside the school are kept clear. If you are parked on George Lane waiting for your child please park well away from the yellow zigzag lines.
Please see the Start of Day and End of Day for more information on where EYFS, KS1 and KS2 enter school in the morning and are dismissed from school at the end of the day. If you are going to be late collecting your child for any reason please inform the school office as soon as possible so that we can make alternative arrangements until your arrival.

The School Office
The school office is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.00pm. Members of staff can normally be contacted via the school office during this time.
NB - Emails/voicemails received after 3.45pm may not be answered until the following working day.
